Hole in My Heart.

Lots of work in this abstract heart! It features a silvered ivory resist technique which is then encased. Lots of layers! And then I have to cut it in half and coax it gently back into shape to get that hole. Finally, a similar bead which was being kept warm in the kiln is attached... the whole process is high drama!

Pinky

Why name a yellow heart Pinky? For all the dots of pink along her bottom, of course! Yellow filligrana cased with more yellow and dipped in a reactive frit. There's hints of metallic along her bottom too. She's a stunner! and HUGE!
